Good Teeth
I am not an assiduous brusher. I give my teeth a once-over in the morning, never floss, and rarely bother to brush again at night. (Amusing aside: the first week or so that I stayed at Jeff’s, we both brushed our teeth every evening. After a little while of this, I started to suspect we were just doing it for show, and asked if this was the routine. Turns out he was just a morning brusher too, so we quit the facade.)
The best part about my lax oral hygiene is that I have fantastic teeth. Every six months after my dentist cleaning, the dentist and assistants all ooh and aah over my perfect teeth, and tell me to “keep doing what I’m doing!” No doubt they assume I brush after every meal and floss regularly.
I like to consider this a consolation prize for my genetic predisposition towards clinical depression and chubbiness….
Wow …. you’re really lucky! The dentist just sent me to an oral surgeon to look at my “receding gumline”. I could have surgery to fix it up, but it’s complicated with the Coumadin … I may have to go off the Coumadin and back on shots of Lovenox :(

Guh! You and Jeremy have the same kind of teeth. *jealous*
re: depression and chubbiness – I think you kick ass.

You and my sister are both like that. Where, as for me, I think my mouth is now worth more than my car. *sigh*

Lol… that reminds me of a funny thing to tell you that the dentist said to me, not something to write over xanga though… but funny, remind me to tell you the next time I see you. I ran into Anastasia by the way, first you go to Hawaii and then she goes to Europe?!? Jealousy over here!!
PS – I think I got good teeth to account for my heinous (-9.5) eyesight and prenatural disposition towards complete and utter dorkiness…. and I second Jen on the depression/chubbiness comment. You kick ass, you have a lot of things going for you :)

I also only brush in the morning, unless I ate a bunch of sugar right before bed. I think it’s possible to overbrush. At least, that’s my excuse.
